Pamella “Pema” Reid, Executive Director and Founder of Dreamcatchers for the Soul Foundation, Inc., is a dedicated advocate for holistic education and enrichment in at-risk communities. With a deep commitment to empowering children, she utilizes a labyrinth acquired through a grant to create transformative experiences in diverse settings, including schools, hospitals, and restorative justice conferences.
Pamella focuses on equipping children aged 5-18 with practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and trauma through Mindfulness, Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, and other self-discovery practices. She also promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles, fostering overall well-being among youth.
Academically, Pamella holds a BS from SUNY Purchase, studied TV production at Brooklyn College, and earned her ministerial license from Sedona University. She is a certified labyrinth facilitator through Veriditas and an accredited Mindfulness practitioner, with certifications from Mindful Leaders, Mindful Schools, and the Florida Community of Mindfulness. Her impactful work has earned her numerous awards and widespread recognition.
